Bread is made from an incredibly simple set of ingredients, but the chemistry involved is infinitely complex. It seems to me that you can follow a good recipe and get good bread pretty consistently. But, if you want to learn the systems and science involved so you can make your own decisions along the way you will fall down a deep hole. You’ll be forever attuned to how the air temperature and humidity will affect your loaf. You’ll be doing a work-related task but your attention will be with your sourdough starter.

This 12 page DIY baking journal will help you track changes to your baking process and keep a log of all your experiments. There's dedicated space to log 15 loaves worth of notes.

Note: the copy you receive might be a different color paper depending on what I have on hand.

Every basket is made to order in our studio in Brooklyn, NY. It can take up to 10 days for it to be completed, packed & shipped. From there it can take 3-5 days for a package to arrive after the shipment leaves our studio.

We don't offer free shipping on baskets, prints or frames. Shipping is included in the price of zines and greeting cards.

Once an item has been marked as delivered by UPS or USPS we can no longer provide service for that package. Please ensure your shipping address is secure. If you want to change your shipping address after placing an order email and we would be happy to help.
